Formed in their adopted home of Hackney, London, Morning Bride are five disperate souls pulled together by a love of making timeless, heart-wrenching music with killer tunes and classic melodies. With the settled line-up in place by 2006, Morning Bride consists of two girls - Amity & Alexa, both from the north-eastern United States, and three boys - Mark, Jim & Pete, all from English seaside towns beginning with B.

After self-releasing two double A-side singles (which quickly sold out), Morning Bride went in to the studio at the end of 2006 to record their debut long-player with Ed Deegan (White Stripes, Holly Golightly etc) in Bow, East London. Using only analogue equipment and recording the songs as close to live as possible, 'Lea Valley Delta Blues' is a collection of beautiful, brooding, often anthemic torch songs that have increasingly floored their live audiences.
